Tivy Side Show

Saturday 12th July 2014 Location: Newcastle Emlyn

Located on the outskirts of Newcastle Emlyn on the fertile land of Esgairnewydd fields (with thanks to the Evans family), it’s a fabulous location for exhibitors, on lookers and visitors. Hundreds upon hundreds of people visit the showground annually at the beginning of July. Every year, the show develops and changes due to demand. She is also a modern show that appeals to the young and the experienced exhibitors amongst us. From Shetland Ponies to Sport Horses and Hunters, there are classes for everyone. The trade stands attract a huge crowd and the dog section is always popular. Come and see the cattle, pigs and sheep, before visiting the craft and cookery tent – there’s something to amuse everyone

Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival

Over the years, the Cardigan Bay Seafood Festival has grown to be one of the highlights of the food calendar in Wales and several thousand people are expected to flock to the quayside this summer to see and taste the best of local seafood, fish and other produce.

Fishguard International Music Festival

Quilt Show

Friday 1st August 2014 - Sunday 3rd August Location: Cae Hir Gardens

An open Quilt Show held in the beautiful RHS associate Gardens. Enter your quilt then come and see it hung in these beautiful hillside gardens. Alternatively just come and enjoy the beautiful quilts and gardens. There are tea rooms in the garden which serve excellent cakes and there will be a traders marquee for all your quilting needs as well as quilts for sale. As the gardens are set on a hillside there is limited disabled access. Free parking Admission £5

Shakespeare in the Abbey

Aberaeron Festival Of Welsh Ponies & Cobs

A truly unique event showcasing every aspect of the amazing breed, the Welsh pony and Cob. Exciting events throughout the day in the square field, Cae Sgwar right in the middle of Aberaeron. Events will include:

  • In-hand, under-saddle & driving displays.
  • Inter-hunt relay showcasing jumping, thrills & spills!

Ceredigion Art Trail 2014

Coracle Races at Cilgerran
