The annual Cardigan quays festival celebrates Cardigan’s rich cultural and maritime heritage.
A CELEBRATION OF THE RIVER, CULTURE AND PEOPLE IN AND AROUND CARDIGAN & THE TEIFI VALLEY
BOATS | BEER | MAKERS | GROWERS | FOOD | FIREWORKS | MUSIC | SPECTACLE | FUN
This is the town that has been the fortified seat of kings, that has given birth to the Eisteddfod, and that helped set sail to the dreams of many to a new land called America.
There will be music, crafts, river activities, food stalls from artisan producers, fish, beers, cheeses, breads, workshops, performers and a whole wealth of sights, sounds, tastes and experiences to delight and entertain. All this against the backdrop of the Historic port and the majestic River Teifi flowing down to the open sea.
The festival is held in and around the quayside on the river opposite the castle in the old port area of the town.
