NGS Open Day and Plant Fair at the beautiful Llanllyr Mansion gardens. A wide range of stalls selling perennials, shrubs and bedding. Entry to plant fair free, small charge for NGS day garden entry. Ample parking and refreshments available. This large early C19 garden sits on the site of a medieval nunnery, and has been renovated and replanted since 1989. The large pool, bog garden, formal water garden, rose and shrub borders, gravel gardens, rose arbour, allegorical labyrinth and mount all exhibit fine plantsmanship, with year-round appeal using interesting and unusual plants.
