The Picturemakers was founded in 2006 as a self-funding collective of visual artists based in Mid-Wales; currently comprising 13 artists with a diversity of backgrounds and interests living in and around Aberystwyth, Cwm Ystwyth, Rhayader, Pant-y-Dwr, Felinfach, Pennant and Llangwm. Their styles range from representational to abstract, but much of their work is rooted in the natural world.
