Third year of this major new event for makers hosted at Cardigan Castle.
Craft Festival Wales is a vibrant celebration of making, supported by Visit Wales and leading arts organisations from Wales and beyond. The festival will host 100 exceptional makers, alongside The Capital of Craft LIVE, demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, children’s activities, live music, theatre, storytelling and town-wide satellite events.
New for 2026: StartUP
A dedicated area for makers trading for 2 years or less (since Jan 2024), with stands offered at a significantly reduced rate. Designed to support and showcase emerging creative talent.
We feature makers working to the highest standards across ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, print, paper, leather, recycled and mixed media
Workshops
Friday 11am-1pm Custom Knitted Neckerchief Workshop with Marissa Thereze £40.00
Join Marissa Thereze for a hands-on workshop where you’ll customise your very own knitted using knitting machines — no experience necessary.
Friday 2pm-4pm Intaglio Printing Using Tetra Paks with Elin Crowley £35.00
A fun, hands-on workshop to learn how to use recycled Tetra Pak cartons to create unique intaglio printing plates.
Saturday 11am-1pm Creative Papermaking with Sarah Holloway £32.00
Come and explore textural possibilities and have fun experimenting with making pieces of recycled handmade paper.
Saturday 2pm-4pm Wearable Art workshop with discarded materials with Bronwen Gwillim £35.00
Turn trash into treasure in this fun, hands-on jewellery-making workshop. Using waste plastic as her medium, explore creative, sustainable ways of transforming discarded material into wearable art.
Sunday 11am-1pm Silver wire jewellery workshop with Rose Teleri £40.00
Come and play with silver wire, in this workshop we will look at line, texture and shape. Fully exploring what you can do with the simplest of materials and tools.
Sunday 2pm-4pm Botanical dyeing and stitching a textile artwork with Siân Lester £32.00
Siân will take you through a relaxing stitching session using simple and effective techniques with naturally dyed wool felt to create your own mini textile artwork.
