Cardigan Walks can take you on a family-friendly one and a half hour tour of the history and stories of Cardigan town, look above the shop fronts and into the past.
By limiting the walking tours to just ten people for each tour you can be sure to learn about the pirates and smuggling as well as the legal trades. Please be sure to book in advance.
The town of Cardigan as we see it today grew around Cardigan Castle in the late 11th or early 12th century.
Your guided tour of Cardigan will start and finish in front of Cardigan Bay Active The walking tours begin at either 10 am or 1 pm – check out the website for guidance on clothing and for any changes to these schedules, locate the start point here ///carry.gravest.unsettled. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles in total. Tours can be booked from the beginning of March to the end of September.

Mwnt cottage provides a relaxing and romantic retreat, yet only five minutes drive to New Quay.
In summer you can enjoy a barbecue on the patio while listening to the birdsong, watching soaring red kites or just relaxing in the peaceful setting.
What a lovely way to end a day’s walk along the coast path or dolphin spotting.

Llangrannog is a two storey cottage, with a lounge, separate dining room and kitchen on the ground floor. The cottage has all the facilities you would expect at Penllwyn Cottages.
Bedroom One is a twin bedroom* Bedroom Two has a king sized bed*
*these two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath with shower attachment. Bedroom Three is en suite, has a double bed and bathroom with bath and shower over.

The peaceful rural setting provides an ideal holiday base for families with babies and children of all ages.

The choice of excellent local beaches such as Aberporth, Llangrannog and New Quay mean children can find lots to do, and might even get the chance to watch the dolphins in the bay, particularly in New Quay (right). A selection of toys and board games are available for loan and the family facilities include a baby bathing and changing room.

The reception is housed in a modern log cabin which also provides all the information you need to get the most out of your visit. We can help you plan a trip to watch the famous bottle nosed dolphins of Cardigan Bay or provide information on sections of the coast path and circular walks or what to find at each of the local beaches.

Some of the local beaches have sections for dogs to enjoy eg. Llangrannog and and all the beaches allow dog’s out of season.

Ideal for motor homes, camper vans, touring caravans and trailer tents and tents. Your pitch has a level compacted hard standing gravel base with grass surrounding the pitch.
All the pitches at Brynawelon Touring and Camping Park have a 16 amp electric hook-up, if required.
