Morfa Isaf Farm Cottages Llangrannog

From both cottages, the sea views are outstanding and with an inlet part of the Ceredigion Coast Path running down the side of the garden and over a stile, you can enjoy wonderful walks with a chance to spot dolphins, seals and an array of sea birds.

Situated next to the Morfa Isaf Guesthouse at the end of a quiet country road, we offer two self-catering holiday cottages: Morfa Isaf Farm Cottage (sleeps 2) and Granary Cottage (sleeps 2).

Guests have access to a private area of beach, while the sandy beach of Llangrannog can be reached along the coastal path or within a short drive where relaxing summer days or invigorating winter walks will be enjoyed by all. Please note, access to the local beach is down a steep climb, not suitable for those with mobility issues.

A five minute drive away takes you into the village of Llangrannog with a few pubs and cafes to enjoy. A short drive takes you to the market town of Cardigan with an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and an impressive ruined castle. Being so close to the coast, there are plenty of other activities that holiday makers can enjoy, including walks along the nearby beaches of Llangrannog, Penbryn, Tresaith and Aberporth, visit the bottle-nosed dolphin population that reside in Newquay, which is situated less than a 30 minute drive away, with its rock cliffs, sandy coves and numerous foot paths.

If you just want to switch off and relax, these perfectly located Llangrannog cottages will be the best choice for you.

There are beautiful open beams, sea views to mesmerise you and the unusual purpose-built bed, which takes full advantage of the space by having a raised step on each side.

Beautiful stone cottage converted from a barn. Guests will feel at home in the cottage, with the open plan kitchen/dining area visible as you enter the property.
The sitting area provides a great chance to relax in front of the TV, or when reading a book with the French doors open to the beautiful view.
And with the modern interior, guests will be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the comfort of the dining area.
The property comes equipped with WiFi.
Elsewhere inside the cottage is a double bedroom and bathroom.
Pets are more than welcome on the property and off-road parking is also available.

The Accommodation

Two bedrooms: one small single downstairs and a large double upstairs. This enables two friends to stay (that don’t want to share a bed) or if one person isn’t able to use the stairs.

Well equipped kitchens: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, built in oven etc.

Sitting room: woodburner, flat screen tv and dvd with freeview, a selection of books, games, local guides and maps. Downstairs shower, toilet and washbasin tastefully tiled throughout.

All Year Round Comfort

Both cottages have: luxury of oil fired underfloor heating and also an electric towel rail in the shower rooms. They are tastefully tiled throughout in slate with colourful rugs adding a homely feel. The bedrooms have wooden floors. Both upstairs bedrooms have dormer windows giving a spectacular sea view northwards looking up as far as north Wales. Both cottages also have a private patio area outside with tables, chairs and B.B.Q. Well behaved dogs are welcome at £20 per week extra. Sorry no smokers.

Awel y mor: (sea breeze) has the added luxury of a glassed area as part of the sitting room enabling one to sit and enjoy the countryside views from inside. Upstairs this cottage also has a balcony that opens into the bedroom allowing one to sit outside with great sea views, perfect to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine.
Swn y Mor has a work desk area in it as well as a bed and both cottages have faster broadband speeds so ideal if needing to work from ‘home’.

Holiday Cottage Features

The cottages are set back off the road on a small country lane. they have been converted from farm buildings and we have tried to keep as many original features as possible whilst trying to make them as luxurious as we can. We are a working organic farm with horses, cattle and sheep.

We live on site so are here to give advice or help at all times. We can also provide stabling if you would like to bring your horse on holiday with you. we have our own x-country course which you can hire.

These cottages have been built/designed with the discerning customer in mind so are only intended for two people and are not for children.

Where we are

We are approx 1 mile (by road) less on bridle path from.
National Trust owned Mwnt beach. This a renowned local beauty spot well known for it’s regular sightings of dolphins, seals, choughs and peregrine falcons. This is part of the Ceredigion Marine Heritage Coast. We are only a short walk away from the new Ceredigion Coastal path. This has given the visitor a wonderful chance to walk areas of the cliffs never seen before.
Less than 1/2 mile from a farm shop which is well stocked throughout the summer season.
4 miles from Cardigan, a busy little market town with all your usual supermarkets but also some interesting gift shops.
3 miles from Aberporth
2 miles from A 487 inc a well stocked shop and garage (cheapest garage for miles!)
