Explore the waterfall and rockpools and if you are lucky spot the dolphins in the bay from your bedroom!

From the caravan you can drive or enjoy a 25minute walk to the lovely family holiday town of New Quay. When the tide is out then you can walk from ‘Five Oaks’, through the private woods down to Llanina bridge, cross the road to join the Welsh coast path and down to the beach and along Traethgwyn Beach and all the way to the town. Set in a peaceful meadow bordered by two acres of private woodland and a river, Five Oaks ‘Acorn’ caravan provides a wonderful escape for up to six people.

Although the beds in the two twin rooms are 2ft 3ins wide and are therefore most suitable for children, they can be joined together into a standard double bed enabling flexible family accommodation.

With outside seating area with a gas barbecue, plenty of space for parking and even a washing line for clothes after a day at the beach, or hiking the coast path, there are few better locations to enjoy this beautiful area of west Wales.
We have three alpacas: Pippin, Inca and Claude – initially as family pets, but as they become more settled we will allow supervised access, perhaps to help feed them, clean their enclosure, or even walk them through our woods.
The properties have been lovingly transformed from the barns and stables that originally serviced the farm, by Yvonne & Howell, who live in the Farmhouse and are your hosts – attention to detail and a relaxed atmosphere are their by-words.
The cottages are set in 10 glorious acres of grounds which sit invitingly above the village of Cenarth with pastoral views across to the Preseli Hills & Pembrokeshire National Park. Lots of room to run and play for the younger ones and little secluded corners to just sit with a book or watch the Red Kites & Buzzards overhead! Numerous golf courses are fairly close by and you can take the opportunity to brush up your skills on our 250 yard golf practice area before heading off for a round or two! We have a football field for the children (young & old), a small games room plus a purpose built Playtower for the little ones.
Just a mile or so down the road is the picturesque little village of Cenarth with a Supermarket, Church and two village Pubs and which is well known for its Salmon Leap Waterfalls. The market town of Newcastle Emlyn is just 3 miles further on.
The county town of Cardigan is just seven miles west from the cottages and has a fair selection of craft shops, theatre, galleries, library not to mention the larger supermarkets for the weekly shop. The nearby beaches of Mwnt, Poppit Sands, Tresaith, Penbryn, Newport and Llangrannog provide a range of facilities for swimming, surfing, boating or sea kayaking.
Restaurants and bars are available in Cardigan, Llangrannog, Aberporth and Tresaith and shops at the local farm shop on the main coast road, or Cardigan, where you will also find the cinema.

Geraig Holiday Cottage
The sitting room has two spacious sofas with TV.
The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge and comes well equipped for self-catering. The kitchen also leads to the patio for outdoor dining.
The bathroom has a shower over the bath, wash basin and toilet.
Central heating is included ensuring the cottage can be used all year round.

The dining area provides comfortable seating for four.
You will be provided with a welcome tray of fresh home made Welsh Cakes.
Guests are to bring their own towels.
A travel cot is available on request.

Equipped with garden furniture. The patio makes a lovely place to sit and enjoy a private meal within 70 yards walk of the shore.

There is plenty of parking usually outside the house and free parking by the sea front, very close to the house.
Aberaeron is set on the Ceredigion coast path which you can access just a few yards from the house.
Inland there are gardens and National Trust Properties.
Aberaeron has award winning restaurants and wonderful Honey Ice Cream on the quayside.
Located just a 5 minute drive from New Quay with it’s dolphin spotting boat trips and choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes.

Mwnt cottage provides a relaxing and romantic retreat, yet only five minutes drive to New Quay.
In summer you can enjoy a barbecue on the patio while listening to the birdsong, watching soaring red kites or just relaxing in the peaceful setting.
What a lovely way to end a day’s walk along the coast path or dolphin spotting.

Llangrannog Holiday 4* Cottage
Llangrannog Cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
Llangrannog is a two storey cottage, with a lounge, separate dining room and kitchen on the ground floor. The cottage has all the facilities you would expect at Penllwyn Cottages.
Bedroom One is a twin bedroom* Bedroom Two has a king sized bed*
*these two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath with shower attachment. Bedroom Three is en suite, has a double bed and bathroom with bath and shower over.
Travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request.
Llangrannog Holiday Cottage
Wood burning stove and oil central heating.
We provide a free basket of logs for your arrival and should you need them, further logs are charged at £5 a basket.
All your bedding and towels are provided.
Unfortunately, please note we are unable to accept pets.
Two bedrooms: one small single downstairs and a large double upstairs. This enables two friends to stay (that don’t want to share a bed) or if one person isn’t able to use the stairs.
Well equipped kitchens: fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, built in oven etc.
Sitting room: woodburner, flat screen tv and dvd with freeview, a selection of books, games, local guides and maps. Downstairs shower, toilet and washbasin tastefully tiled throughout.
All Year Round Comfort
Both cottages have: luxury of oil fired underfloor heating and also an electric towel rail in the shower rooms. They are tastefully tiled throughout in slate with colourful rugs adding a homely feel. The bedrooms have wooden floors. Both upstairs bedrooms have dormer windows giving a spectacular sea view northwards looking up as far as north wales. Both cottages also have a private patio area outside with tables, chairs and b.b.q.
Awel y mor: (sea breeze) has the added luxury of a glassed area as part of the sitting room enabling one to sit and enjoy the countryside views from inside. Upstairs this cottage also has a balcony which opens into the bedroom allowing one to sit outside with great seaviews, perfect to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine.

Holiday Cottage Features
The cottages are set back off the road on a small country lane. they have been converted from farm buildings and we have tried to keep as many original features as possible whilst trying to make them as luxurious as we can. We are a working organic farm with horses, cattle and sheep.
We live on site so are here to give advice or help at all times. We can also provide stabling if you would like to bring your horse on holiday with you. we have our own x-country course which you can hire.
Awel y Mor Hot Tub
These cottages have been built/designed with the discerning customer in mind so are only intended for two people and are not for children.
Enjoy the luxury of a hot-tub under the stars when staying at Awel-y-Mor.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at £10 per week extra. Sorry no smokers.
Where we are
We are approx 1 mile (by road) less on bridle path from.
National Trust owned Mwnt beach. This a renowned local beauty spot well known for it’s regular sightings of dolphins, seals, choughs and peregrine falcons. This is part of the Ceredigion Marine Heritage Coast. We are only a short walk away from the new Ceredigion Coastal path. This has given the visitor a wonderful chance to walk areas of the cliffs never seen before. Less than 1/2 mile from a farm shop which is well stocked throughout the summer season. 4 miles from Cardigan, a busy little market town with all your usual supermarkets but also some interesting gift shops. 3 miles from Aberporth
