Set in the tiny village of Gilfachreda this spacious and comfortable self catering lodge is just five minutes from the family friendly beaches and harbour of New Quay and ten minutes from the colourful harbour at Aberaeron.

The lodge is available all year round which means you can visit when the coast is vibrant with festivals and visitors, or to enjoy empty beaches and delightful coast walks in the cooler months.
There is plenty of woodland area to enjoy from the doorstep with many trails to follow on foot or bike as well as a children’s play area for the kids to enjoy. The River Llethi meanders through the park out onto Cei Bach beach and at low tide you can wander around the cove to the pretty harbour town of New Quay which is a fabulous traditional seaside resort with seaside shops and delightful ice cream parlours alongside more formal eateries.
There are two bedrooms, one is a twin room and the master bedroom is en-suite. There is also a separate shower room. The shower room has a cubicle shower, wash hand basin and toilet.
The wraparound level decking with secure gate is a great place to enjoy your food and drink. There is a children’s play area and ample parking close by. There are lots of places to eat and shop in New Quay and Aberaeron and the local Tesco and Asda supermarkets can deliver to your holiday lodge.
Dog’s enjoy holidays too, so enjoy a walk in the woodland with them, or visit some of the dog friendly beaches on Cardigan Bay.
On Site Facilities at Woodlands
The Clubhouse’ at Woodlands Park opened in 2019 offers a warm welcome from your hosts Rebecca and Daryl. This on site bar and restaurant is situated right at the front of the park and also has an outside seating area perfect for ‘al fresco’ dining. The Clubhouse offers hot food, cold beer and warm hospitality, with comfortable seating in a very stylish and yet family friendly setting. There is also a pool table and a darts board and Sky sports too.
The area offers numerous outdoor activities such as dolphin and wildlife spotting boat trips in New Quay, fishing, popular cycling routes and a fabulous coast path that meanders along some fantastic and diverse coastline.
For something different take a trip to Aberaeron with its shops and famous honey ice cream or Aberystwyth with many independent and high street stores all near the beach and the Victorian promenade.
